All good, I just don’t agree.
I won’t accept victim shaming.
Wearing or having nice things, doesn’t make me feel worthy or deserving of being violated.
We all feel differently about it, which is fine.
I had a Valentino stolen right off my lap in Austin and my DD quipped “omg mommmmm you’re so dumb for taking it off your arm!”
Oh sure kiddo, FOR SURE my fault.
Hard to fly home that weekend without ID…

She lives in Manhattan now, I raised a NYer from TX LOL
I don’t condone victim shaming either. BUT…common sense precautions only work if taken. If you put shopping bags in full view on the back seat of your car, is it right for anyone to break the window and steal your property? Of course not, but putting bags in the trunk might avoid the problem.

I’d rather someone steal my shopping bag from my car than breach where I feel safe and am physically at.

I travel with my jewelry, I store it safely and thieves suck. That’s all. lol
Be very careful, por favor.
I'm aware the cameras were for her show. I'm not sure why it's implied she's brainless with this action, however?
My apologies, I sounded way harsher than intended.
But yes, Kim is acting silly.

I don’t know how old you are but in the 1970’s, there was a wave of kidnapping in Italy.
Basically, terrorists kidnapped rich people for ransoms.
We are in the same type of zeitgeist. In fact, there has been a kidnapping attempt in Paris two days ago.
One has to exercise common sense or be ready to face grim consequences.
It seems that Kim simply does not connect the dots.
Yes, she was victimized but she does not take any responsibility for her actions either.

That drawing looks more like Kourtney to me. :P

From the article;
Indeed, news releases from the designers of both the necklace and the ear cuff suggested those pieces were chosen specifically for the occasion. Not long after Ms. Kardashian took the stand, the company that designed the necklace, Samer Halimeh New York, sent out a statement heralding the 80 diamonds in the piece, including a center pear-shaped gem of 10.13 carats. According to an email from the designer: “This natural diamond carries its pure, powerful energy straight from the mine. Kim is powerful herself, so it was an honor to dress her for this very important day in her life.” Briony Raymond, the ear cuff designer, likewise took credit for its sparkler, which was on loan, according to a spokeswoman, as did Repossi.

Which also suggests another conclusion: Maybe even in a moment of utmost seriousness, the unofficial law of the moment is never to let any photo opportunity go to waste
