Sorry to repeat myself but c'moon guys, it's all intentional. She was wearing Margiela. It's the exact same styling Margiela had in the spring 2024 couture show. Same short cardigans, hand placements, tiny waists et all. Too bad Kim's hair wasn't styled like this.

I watched the roast. She is horrible at reading a prompter and has no comedic timing. Tom roasting her back was the highlight

I saw a picture of her from the back in this outfit (on Instagram I think) a couple days after the Met Gala and it honestly looked like her a$$ was going to explode at any minute due to the corset pushing everything down & out She was also having to stand in a weird and uncomfortable looking semi-crouch pose on the red-carpet which was odd.

Her Gala waistline got her in many magazines and newspapers around the world. I don't know that much about "corseting" but some do it little by little to whatever extreme. You'd think Kim had to have undergone some kind of "decompression" when her assistants helped her take off the outfit--reminds me of deep sea divers undergoing decompression to avoid the bends. Attention is what got her to billionaire status, the smooshed organs/waist got her a ton of it. OTOH, consider the years of brutal training some people go through to become international/world champions in various sports. That isn't for the faint of heart, either. Definitely not saying KK is any kind of athlete, but her lucrative living relies on shock value attention. For her it's worth it .
