You shouldn't reinforce the leather on a bag like this even if the reinforcement is very flexible, otherwise it's gonna dig into you everytime you move or stick out and dig into everything else surrounding you
Besides this level of slouchiness is part of the look wether you like it or not

I unexpectedly went home the other week with a KM PM (poussiere Togo). Was thinking it would be the perfect travel cross-body bag! Surprisingly hubby agrees, and his comments make me suspect the KM will be “shared” every so often. :lol:

I have a Q though… I’ve had a K28 on my QB wishlist for the exact reason above (travel cross-body bag). I typically carry K/B25s or Cs and just wanted something slightly larger for travel purposes.

So am curious, would other KM PM lovers scratch that K28 off the list now?

I just acquired both a KMPM and a K28 this year, so just sharing my experiences here:

Sure, they share some similarities - their size are close, both Kelly style, and for me, both blue-toned. At one point I thought about selling one of them. But I ended up keeping them both, because I felt like they serve somewhat different purposes.

For me, my KMPM is a “going to the park” bag, whereas K28 is more of a “everyday work” bag. I only carry KMPM crossbody, but K28 either as a shoulder bag or holding the handle - never crossbody. The handle makes a lot of difference between the bags for me 🤣

So i guess you could take my experience with a grain of salt and see how much of that is applicable for you.

Thank you, @seaend ! That’s super helpful :flowers: Got me to thinking about going sellier for the K28 instead! In the meantime, I shall enjoy my KM :smile:

What’s in my Kelly Messenger PM!

Thought I’d share this for those who are curious what a KM PM holds, and for those who are considering purchasing this bag.

These are the items I usually carry with me when I choose to wear my KM. However, it can fit quite a bit more as 3/4th of the height is unused in this photo.

Ikr, it for sure can pack a punch if you need it to!

What umbrella do you have that can fit inside the KM? I know of this brand "Davek", that has a compact 7" umbrella, but not sure if there are other options or smaller umbrellas.

Woah! I didn't know that it can fit an 11" iPad Pro! I used to have the 11" years ago, but got the 12.9" instead.

Indeed I have the Davek mini for my Hac a dos pm and KM PM, and then the classic davek for my Kelly 35/b35/kelly Messenger GM (although sometimes I just shove the mini umbrella in one of the two side pockets)

The iPad fits with a Smart Folio and I still have room for the umbrella, gum, wallet, sunglasses without a case, and a tube of moisturizer. Not very finicky to close either.

Yeah, it's a shame they are using the tariffs as an excuse to be greedy.

Let's hope there is a sales slump, that forces them to take a step back and re-evaluate the price hikes.
