Guys, the Danse I am trying to get doesn’t seem to come with the base. It is from 2008, shouldn’t it have that separate leather base?

Can anyone who has a danse comment on how useful the bag is? Are you really using it in all the different configurations? I’m considering adding one to my wishlist but haven’t seen many actual reviews or real life action shots
I wear it exclusively cross body with an evelyne tpm strap. It is very casual and functional that way and I carry it a lot. I would also wear it as a clutch, but I have a KP in the same specs.
I found the strap it came with useless - too long cross body, a little snug as a waist bag (I am a US 10), and an awkward length as a shoulder bag.
I just got mine not so long ago and I wear it on my shoulder. I love the casual look and how easy it is to use. I wouldn’t do the belt bag or cross body ways but I can see myself wearing it as a backpack if I need to have my hands free.
I think it is a practical bag and easy to get in and out comparing to sellier Kelly. They have different vibes but both are beautiful
Hi everyone, I'm new to the luxury community and is interested in getting a kelly danse. I'm wondering how hard is it to get one? Is it a quota bag in the US? I've purchased a few things online but have not been to the store until today. The SA told me the amount of inventories is limited due to covid so I have to wait until later this year. Are people experiencing the same situation at your store?
Its Not a quota bag in the US. My SA says the same, very limited inventory and they don’t get many Kelly danse in general (even pre-Covid). I don’t know if it’s hard to get one (probably depends on the store and how many people have it on their wishlist). At my store, it is difficult because everyone always wants the small bags (danse included).
I’m located in Asia and it is not a quota bag but does need store manager approval as it’s in demand coupled with low supply and as an FA said to me ‘it’s a Kelly!’. A bit like the Kelly to go I assume, but do ask as this could vary from store to store and country to country.
Please, post your purchases when you get it. I am completely in love with mine. I haven’t be using that much, cause I haven’t been going out a lot during the pandemia. However I am eager to wear as soon as possible. It’s too damn cute!!!
