I didn't even asked as I wasn't considering it at the store yesrerday and now I am on the fence if I want one or not. Afraid the leather will scratch easily. Besides, I am working with my SA on a K28 or K25 so wasn't sure if I really want the Kelly Danse ...... Plus my SA put me on the list for the new Kelly wallet to go which is coming into the store in Feb. I think my SA can get me a noir with ghw if I really want one. She offered me a mini Lindy yesterday in noir ghw and she knows my favorite is now ghw.
Does anyone know if the kelly Danse is considered a quota bag in Australia?
My SA said no it’s not but it may be in the future. Kelly ado on the other hand is a quota bag though.
Bumping this thread as i have to share, my Kelly Danse is now my most used bag on the weekend - mainly with a different Hermes strap but I love that it is a little more casual looking but still classic. I am loving swapping straps to switch between cross body and shoulder drops. i was worried about the shape but it’s pristine, but I may but an insert now that these are available. My experience is with Evercolor leather, but I’m curious as to how the smoother leavers like swift or JV are holding up - any experience to share/advice on use of an insert? Thanks
i was offered a kelly danse in rose ete but not sure if i should take it....looking for some advice as to whether i should wait for a more neutral color (altho i have lots of neutrals in my collection already..) so my questions are (1) do you think the kelly danse is better in a fun pop of color like pink or better in a neutral (gold, black) persay? (2) is there typically a long wait list for kelly danse similar to kelly pochette...just curious if i decline whether it would take months and months before another one shows up in store...
Depending on where you are, the Kelly Danse isn't a quota bag and its quantities aren't as limited as the Kelly Pochette so, it's more of a matter of waiting for one in a color/leather/hw combo that you love. I can't answer your first question as I can see the use for both, neutral or pop/bright color depending on ones personal preference.
At my store at least before the lockdown, Kelly Danse is definitely much easier to get compared to Kelly Pochette.
I tie the twilly from the center as I would with a Birkin or Kelly handle and loop the end through the ring to tighten.
