Thank you so much for your feedback! I love the fact that it’ll be scratch resistant and maybe not need to baby it as much! I’m still very undecided on which shape will suit me more. I’m definitely more of a casual dresser so I’m thinking sellier might not suit my look?

I know everyone says that sellier is more formal, but honestly, I think you can wear it casually if styled appropriately. I’m also pretty casual (nice jeans and sweater or some sort of top, casual dress, etc.) and I wear the sellier with the same style outfits as the retourne (on the left in the photo above for comparison).

I think one of the advantages of the sellier is that you can wear it formally but casually as well. It's all in the attitude.

Just an update - I decided to say no to my first QB offer. My heart just didn’t sing with the colour combo in the K28 (I originally said I was opened to whichever coloured hardware so my SA wasn’t wrong).

If it didn’t make your heart sing, you were right to refuse. I have a feeling, esp with a new data point, your SA will come up with what you want soon

Sure! I was offered a K28 gold sellier with palladium hardware.

I've had a K28 epsom sellier for about 4 years now. I love it. It's attributes and cons have been duly noted above. As to the stiffness, I've found that over time that has dissipated somewhat, but it's still stiff. It's stiffness, however, is why the bag keeps its shape so well, so if you like your bags not to look "slouchy" its a good thing. It is also somewhat waterproof. I keep a foldable waterproof tote in it when I wear it which is used for major downpours, but I've worn it a few times were random raindrops, snowflakes have hit it with no issues. It also once got a glass of water poured on it. I dried it off immediately, and no issues. As to the K28 size, I think it's perfect and would love to get another one in a retourne style.

I second @WingNut! I need to know the details of this chain to extend the strap. I have been looking for something like this

My 42 year old baby girl. Kelly 28 Ardennes. The handle was replaced as was the hardware and leather tabs. She spent 9 months in Paris. She’s looking good as new.
