I would love to keep this thread going ) How do you style your K28? What do you typically carry in it? and what are some occasions when you wear it?

I have 2: noir sellier with GHW in epsom and craie retourne with GHW in togo. Love them both equally but I use the sellier less than the retourne as I find it more formal.

The gold is Kelly Flash (orange inside) 35 cm.

I mined the camera roll for pictures of my Retourne Bleu Nuit Kelly 28 in Togo with palladium hardware.


It’s nicknamed BN-K28 Prime because it’s the first Kelly I accepted, and what I believed at the time would be my one and only Kelly or Birkin.

BN-K28 Prime is the perfect medium sized bag with a deceptively generous capacity. But it does become heavy if you fill up every inch.


That’s why I choose to wear it with a wider strap, like repurposing one of the canvas straps from my Evelyne 29s, or using a non- H or H canvas strap that has a minimum width of 40mm.



After the pandemic, I switched to my smaller 25s and carry the 28 primarily when I go to the office. BN-K28 Prime hasn’t traveled yet but that may change since I now travel with 5lbs of pure Beskar (the pups, and I needed to drop a Mandalorian reference) and require a slightly bigger bag!

Correct. The sellier was her first K28 from about 7 years ago (someone didn’t want their SO) and the retourne is from last year
