Katy Perry arrives at the Smurfs 2 premiere held at Regency Village Theatre on Sunday (July 28) in Westwood, Calif.

The 28-year-old entertainer brought along her lovely grandmother Ann and even ran into Britney Spears on the blue carpet. She was also joined by her co-stars Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays.

Katy Perry Covers 'Elle UK' September 2013

Katy Perry rocks a Dolce & Gabbana look on the cover of Elle UK‘s September 2013 issue, on newsstands July 31.

In the issue, the 28-year-old singer opens up about “the break-up and make-up with John Mayer, moving on from Russell Brand, and what her relationship with Robert Pattinson is all about.” Make sure to check out both the newsstand and subscriber covers below!

Katy‘s voice is featured in the new film The Smurfs 2, which hits theaters everywhere this weekend.

Over the weekend, Katy attended the premiere for the film, where she met up with Britney Spears, who recorded the song “Ooh La La” for the movie’s soundtrack.

I have the weirdest love/hate relationship with her. Sometimes, I'll read an interview and think, wow, she's great. Candid, smart and in control of her career with a cool sense of humour. Other times I'll hear that horrid song "Ur So Gay" and think, actually, she's a douche bag. Doesn't help that she seems to be BFFs with Rihanna who has devolved into the tackiest mess ever.

My bad. first single is 'Roar' out August 26, nothing confirmed though.

I'm a katycat, I've said it before. But I absolutely hate UR So Gay as well, and totally side-eye her for that song. I'm annoyed she still plays it live.

Edited to add: Her Killer Queen perfume teasers have leaked on youtube.... they are suspiciously similar to Beyoncé's Mrs Carter tour trailers, and were directed by the same guy.
