Her body shape is odd to me for a supposed "top model". I also don't really think that anyone is promoting her body shape when they photoshop it like crazy to make her look different than she actually does. Her family connections have gotten her everything she has, IMO.
She claims to look like a 'dying animal' when she's goofing around on set.
But that's hard to believe, judging by Kate Upton's latest sexy shoot with V Magazine.
And the confident star has told the magazine that she doesn't see other models as 'competition'.
'I don't compare myself with other models,' she reveals.
'For me, modeling is really about competing with yourself, becoming the best you can be.'
The blonde bombshell pulls a series of sultry poses for the magazine spread, showing off her ample cleavage.
With her blonde hair piled up, Kate manages to channel both Diana Dors and Brigitte Bardot in the shots.
The 21-year-old is also portrayed in sepia; which ramps up the nostalgia effect, but it's the lush, bouffant blonde hair, kohl eyeliner and dark brows that really evoke the French pin-up.
Of course, the curves are pretty similar, too.
In one shot, Kate can be seen lifting her arms up to display a pretty floral bra while in another she wears a plunging best.
You can see why Kate's character in upcoming flick, The Other Woman, is dubbed 'the boobs.'
The nickname is bestowed upon the Sports Illustrated favourite by the revenge comedy's two main stars Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann spot Upton jogging on the beach in a bikini in the official trailer for The Other Woman.

I don't think she's a stunner, at all. But I'm also not into female body bashing like there's been here. Who's her family that's so powerful that she gets all these jobs?

According to the New York Post, the 21-year-old model, was shot in a ‘zero gravity space’ so that her breasts would appear weightless.
Apparently photographed in a silver bikini, Miss Upton’s floating chest and blonde hair makes her ‘look like something out of Barbarella,’ a source told the paper.

In an appearance on Jimmy Fallon to promote the issue, the comedian joked to Miss Upton that with such an odd location, the only place left for her to be shot would be in outer space.
‘Think about this; there’s no gravity,’ he said.

I don't know much about her, but what I do recall hearing is that she's gotten to where she is because of connections her family has. There are a lot of people I don't think have much talent or are that exceptional looking, but they have a lot of connections and that lands them plenty of work. Blake Lively is another one. I've never found her to be more than average looking facially, but she has more contracts than you could shake a stick at. She has to either have an amazing team, great connections or a combination of both.

I wouldn't call her stunning like say, a 1990s Linda Evangelista, but I think she's pretty and in my mind there's no question as to why she's so popular - it is obvious. She's a swimsuit model with a naturally big chest. Kate Moss is supposedly a top model, and there's certainly nothing outstanding (or even beautiful, really) about her face or figure. Swimsuit modeling is typically geared towards men, and most men aren't interested in the Kate Moss/Nicole Richie body type frolicking in a bikini. They want to see curves bouncing about.

Like I said, I don't know much about her. I read in this thread pages and pages ago that her family was prominent and had a lot of connections. Have also heard it in other articles, as well. It really not a big deal...
