Yeah honestly. A LOT of people don't have defined waists, it's not weird at all, in fact it's probably more common than perfect waistlines. I guess people just aren't used to seeing models that are anything less than perfect so when one comes around, it's 'weird or odd.' Ok:weird:

The media and fashion industry really does warp people's minds into what should be considered attractive. Even plus size models have the same hourglass figures that skinny models have(and flat stomachs). Kate is thin with big boobs and no waist, we have never seen this body type praised before and people seem to have a problem with it.

Yes, because that is exactly what I said...

Let me be clear, I think she is an amazing looking woman with an incredible body and I think she is a fantastic role model to other women.

ALL I said was that I found it strange that her waist shape changes quite dramatically from one day to the next, when ones waist to hip ratio is sort of a set proportion that changes slowly over time. In one set of unposed paparazzi pictures she has a very defined waist and in others taken just days later she loses her waist shape. it is not a criticism, it is an OBSERVATION.

I have said on here several times that I think *****ing about other women's looks in anything other than curiosity (eg wondering if someone has had surgery etc) is not on.

Kate Upton channels her inner Marilyn Monroe on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine’s 100th anniversary issue, on newsstands September 10.

The 21-year-old model, who was photographed for the feature by Annie Leibovitz, talked to the magazine about being shot down in the business.

“I’m not going to name names, but one agency told me, ‘You’re too American, and everybody knows American women are lazy.’ I was so offended! I’ve never been so offended! I was like, ‘You know that you’re in America, right?’ And it wasn’t ‘American models’—it was ‘American women are lazy,’ period! I feel like a lot of women would disagree with that. A lot,” Kate said.

I don't get the whole 'curvey' model thing, when her pics are photoshopped
15 lbs thinner. Why promote her as such, then smooth out her curves?
The VF cover is great. She needs to stick to the T&A/california beach blond look..
she nails it.
Personally, I want to see her with the least amount of clothes on as possible,
it's the only way she grabs my attention..

I LOVE Christy Brinkley..damn she's aged well, that's perfection.
