I don't think Kanye is quite at a Britney level of being a mental mess but his behavior is not dissimilar. Instead of posing nude all the time, he strives to get attention by being as outrageous as he can.
As I've said before, mental illness cannot be cured it can only be managed. He's not in bad enough shape to be considered a danger to himself so he gets to decide whether he wants to take the meds to calm down.
Right, people need to keep in mind that Kanye does have mental illness that he does not medicate. And while I'm reasonably sure he doesn't mean any true harm, he needs to stop being given a platform to spread these type of dangerous statements. They are disgusting and harmful whether or not he would actually personally harm anyone.

Help cannot be forced on someone who doesn’t want it. If you try, they will usually fight it. This is a reality that everyone who has mental illness in their family has to deal with every day.
