Hi All,

Was browsing the Cartier website and came across this single juste un clou earring. Currently n/a for purchase online so I reached to my SA and he informed me that their is currently 0 stock in the USA and it will take 3 weeks for him to receive.

Would love any details, feedback, and/or mod photos re the single earring.
  • Is this new? When was this released? Surprised with the low/no availability.
  • Is this a huggie? ~.5 in (converted from mm from the measurements provided on the site) in diameter when compared to my plain diamond huggie.
  • Is their significant weight to the earring? I plan on wearing this every day especially when the price is too good to be true :shocked:
Please do direct me if their is a post already started regarding the earring.

I saw this a few months ago but it's never available where I live. I'm in Canada and this was sold out in stores but my dad found the last two in UAE for me and bought them both about two weeks ago so I can wear it on my cartilage OR as earrings on both lobes. He can't travel so I haven't gotten them yet but they are supposedly 12 mm. Attaching a picture of what he sent me when purchasing them.

OMG! Thank you so much! So it was released last year and with +$40 price increase. So crazy even globally this earring seems to be low in stock. So helpful. Obsessed!! Can’t wait to get mine. Might even pierce my cartilage like her haha

I got this earring last March for my bday ( almost 1 year ago) I wear mine in my upper cartilage and love. Never take out. I do know after the price increase Cartier made the earring smaller and increased the price! Mine fits like a small hoop and the new version is definitely like a huggie.

The new version of this clu earring is significantly smaller. It would fit a cartilage piecing like a huggie now.

Hmm I'm not totally sure but I got mine last March and in late summer I was in the boutique and my SA showed me the new version and it's much smaller. Crazy since they also raised the price. I would post pictures but I feel like you can't tell unless you see them site by side. Have fun in the boutique!

this look like the normal size too big

Try calling the contact center. In the US, it’s 1-800-227-8437. I phoned them a few weeks ago and they were able to check in their inventory system on a couple of items I was looking for and which boutiques have them in both US and Canada (items can be transferred within N. America). You can then call your SA and ask him/her to order it in. Jot down the item # and give it to your SA, it’ll help speed things up. Good luck!

wow thanks for the info! unfortunately I don’t have an SA as this would be my first Cartier purchase and I was already told by my local boutique that they don’t order items that are out of stock.

If you call the contact center and they find one, they can ship it to you directly. I only mentioned a SA just in case you have or would like to build a relationship. Good luck!
