I received mine a couple of weeks ago and the store ordered a couple more just in case which had to go into production. It’s definitely small but in terms of placement, interestingly, it works best in the helix piercing or just in the lobe.

Good idea. Hopefully you get them both. it was out of stock for so long, when I saw it in stock I ordered it fast and didn’t even think about the cleaning kit and pouch. This was my first Cartier purchase online so I know to ask next time lol

You can still ask them for it! They’ll ship them out to you separately. I’ve seen many members here request them after shipment

Yes, I was able to place an order through my SA back in the beginning of March and was told 3 weeks so end of March...yet here we are and still nothing. I followed up last week and was told now April smh.

My impatient-self stocked the website every now and then and checked the “find in boutique” option and saw that Sf and Chicago locations had low stock. Texted my SA to transfer to NY (where I’m based) and he informed me that these units were already reserved/deposits. I didn’t believe him so I called the store myself and was confirmed he wasn’t lieing lol..yet the stock for those 2 stores still show up as available for 2 weeks now, which is so strange. Did these clients change their minds/lazy to go pick up their earring? Frustrating.

Also to note, I set up notifications on the website when they restocked and never got an email notification. Just this week (Monday) the earring was available to add to cart and I quickly added to my cart, but then yesterday Cartier sends an email which says:

Why was the earring available to purchase in the first place? Ridiculous.

So now it’s just a waiting game. Honestly so impatient. Hopefully by the end of the month I can do a reveal *crossing fingers*

I hope you’re able to find one! Keep us posted too and I’ll do the same if my SA see’s availability.

I placed an order on Monday 4/12 with an estimated delivery on 4/21. Today I received this letter but instead of an estimate of 5-8 weeks it says “We estimate that your order will be delivered in June 2021.”
I’m so bummed out I don’t want to wait 2 months for it. Why was it available online if the piece isn’t actually available :confused1:

Exactly my point! Such a weird system. I placed mine 3/29 and I was going to wait to reveal the news, but I received my pair this Wednesday (4/14)!!! :biggrin:The only thing is that I shipped it to NJ to save some tax..barely saved on anything lol. I’ll do a review Sunday night!

I honestly don’t think it will arrive in June like your email mentioned. It will be quicker I’m sure, but I did place an order with my SA for 2 units at the 5th Avenue flagship and if they do arrive this month like he no mentioned ..I can PM you my SA once he gets them? I find it so odd that my order was fulfilled more quickly and successful online than the flagship smh.

Thanks vinkym. I am also on a waitlist with an SA in Chicago :facepalm:. But the online order looks very promising, and I will just have to patiently wait.

However, since I now have an order number, would you say its okay to request the travel pouch/cleaning kit? lol

Patience is key!

Hmm honestly I don’t even use my cleaning kit for my love & juste un clou bracelet so if I don’t receive a kit I’m totally fine with it haha. I have those extra Cartier ring pouches so I’ll use that for the earring. Would I take the earring off though? Lol

By all means request if you need and will use them. For me personally, I’d request them at the boutique once you receive..much quicker since I’m patient lol. Though I’d also wait before requesting though because what if for whatever reason you don’t love the earring due to sizing/fit/not as expected no?

FINALLY got the earring! :nuts:

So happy :heart:

Review:
  • Smaller than expected (not a bad thing though)..it's actually slightly smaller than my huggie (see photo for comparison). tbh from afar it looks like you have a plain huggie...only up close are you able to see the "nail" design.
  • Really light. I was actually expecting some weight, but it's feel like air/holding a thumb tack lol. No weight on the ear or in the hand.
  • Secure closing mechanism.
Overall, I love it. It's good for every day. Very casual and dainty. Not loud. Would definitely recommend. You won't regret it.

Please enjoy all the photos and my SO as my model for the day :lol: Hope everyone is able to get there's soon!

Now I have the single love diamond earring on my mind :doh:, which is available to purchase online and prior was n/a... oh so tempting.

P.s as expected a travel pouch/cleaning kit was not provided.
