About the laptop, my bf said i am cheating on this one. Since my laptop is the ultra ultra thin and light vaio, which is a limited edition and got discontinued. He said it is not fair to MISLEAD u guys on this forum :shame:

Since u mentioned it, the lip is a pop out one. I guess i should put it in a pouch instead of directly threw it in the bag :shame: However, i haven't had any accidents with the lid popping out yet... But u r right. need to be careful, don't wanna ruin my bag

hermesbb, thanks so much. especially for the pictures. i've been going back and forth re. a 28 or 32 kelly, but if a 30 birkin can hold that much, a 28 kelly ought to work perfectly as just a purse (no laptop or sunscreen, etc.). don't you think?

I have no experience with kelly. But i think the reason a birkin holds more is because it is a tote basically and the bottom is wider if u know what i mean. I am not sure how much a kelly can hold. But we have a lot of kelly owners on this board, they will probably give better description.
