^That is fantastic! I am still waiting for my items. One box is at the PO, waiting for me to pick up. The other will be delayed as I added more stuff :p

I think the usual nappa (lambskin) large veneta comes with mirror, but not the "fashion" pieces.

Which veneta did you get? Maybe you can ask those who has the same bag too?

I plan to send my friend's bag to Singapore ,too . Will Singapore Custom charge the import tax ?

JST, frankly speaking I am not sure about gift. My case is straight forward, I bought the bags and they cost more than S$400.00 and I pay Goods and Service tax (GST) for the purchase.

Yours is gift, but I remember I read somewhere, as long as the goods are more than S$400.00 you have to pay GST.

May be you should ask your Singapore friend to call the custom and excise of Singapore.

Hi, if i am correct, regardless whether it is a gift or not, as long as the declared value on the item is above SGD$400, the person who received the item HAVE to pay Goods and Services Tax for it. Unless you declare a lower value, but you run the risk of not being able to claim the actual amt (insurance) if the item is lost.
Hope this clears the air...and if i am wrong, pls tell me! ;) i sure dun mind if i'm misinformed!

My loot from B is finally in :wlae::wlae::dothewave:

Question: Anyone can advice whether large veneta comes with mirror?
The Rame large Veneta I received do not come with a mirror.

As for the loot I just went custom this morning to collect my BV. The custom adv that its better to hv an invoice. Then they'll just charge the 7% GST based on the invoice price. I need to pay for the postage with GST too. So for my sloane alone.. I've paid a Total GST of S$132/-. Only for liquor n ciggrettes they tax further...

Anything below S$400 is tax free.
