True, and they do still under-price some of the most rare and special bags. But up till recently almost all the Bal bags were available at 20% off, starting with prices similar to today’s. So not quite as much appeal.
My purse mail from RDC just arrived. The 2003 Cafe brown chevre First is my first First, and I was a bit surprised at how small it is. I've always carried something larger, except for very dressy occasions, so I think this baby should remain my only First. It is absolutely gorgeous, and I definitely see myself using it. I am delighted with the color, as it will coordinate with everything.
The 2011 Vert Menthe green lambskin Maxi Twiggy is totally amazing. The color is fantastic, the bag condition is great, and the size looks to be like a deeper City. Both bags are in lovely condition, and I hope to get much use out of each.
ETA - Photo taken outdoors in the shade and colors are close to what I see.

@yuzulife asked for pictures of my Vert Fonce, so here are my various brown and green bags. First photo is outdoors in the sun, and the second is indoors with natural light.

Thank you so much! Some of those colors look different in natural light for sure. The vert fonce is really great reference as I couldn't mentally figure out how much green is in that brown! So helpful and so beautiful!

If the second City has a U tag, then that's Mogano, not Vert Fonce. But hot damn, what a lovely Mogano!
Actually may need to see a photo of it indoors to be sure. In the sunlight there's no hint of green, and the shade is lighter is than Vert Fonce, while not looking faded.
But the zipper tape looks a little green, I don't think that's dark enough for mogano. Plus if it was from RDC I doubt Corey would make that mistake.
RDC's listing was absolutely VF. I just assumed Redbird bought both the Mogano and the VF, but photographed the Mogano by mistake. I added the "actually" part because the zipper tape does look green, but the rest of it didn't, and VF is also very dark. At least my long lost and much mourned one was. But it could just be the sunlight photo.
I remember that RDC had Mogano in an early CeeJay drop. I decided it was too close to the Black Cherry I chose instead, but it was gorgeous.
It does look light for VF, no disagreement there. But it looks like for mogano too so I'm guessing it's just the sunlight as you said.
If you didn't also buy a Mogano, then please disregard my jumping in. RDC's listing of CeeJay's VF was absolutely VF. The sunlight in the photo threw me off.
