Wanted to wait until they actually got here, but whatever, right?
Green is one of my favorite colors and Bal did them so well. Both from 05. This particular year has a strong pull on (not just) me, I guess...

Can't wait to see what she really looks like. Faded? Most likely. But I kinda love the "washed out" look of this color.

Look at this puddle of smooshy, wrinkly olive goodness :nuts:
Will post real pics when I hold them in my greedy hands.
Stunning! The leather looks amazing on both!!

I saw this TRR listing and couldn’t believe my eyes. I instantly thought it's one of the most rich, beautiful 05 Turqs I've ever seen. I jumped on it right away (not cheap) and immediately started having doubts. It couldn’t possibly be 05 Turq. It must be 07 aquamarine or a more recent color, because I’ve never seen Turq this deep.

I present to you a bona fide 05 Turq First. Zero fading. Almost pristine, except for slight darkened handles. Even the tassels are juicy and fresh.

I’m having the damnedest time capturing the color. It looks nothing like my photos, which actually look more like 05 Teal, a color I have previously owned. It’s brighter, more radiant, and more green than the photos show. Also looks nothing like the 05 Turq color swatch in our reference library. The outdoor photo comes the closest but still far from the real thing. But this is as good as I can capture with my iPhone. Original TRR listing also posted, which does a decent job of capturing the color, thought still too dark.

Fantastic Spidey sense! I saw this little stunner too and it drove me crazy. In the end I lost my nerve and was afraid it might be the later agneau blue that fools me often. I’m happy one of us got it right!
Yeah, I pulled the trigger right away, certain at the time that it was 05 Turq and therefore swallowed the price. But right away started second guessing myself. By the time the package arrived I had fully convinced myself it couldn’t possibly be 05 Turq and opened the package with no enthusiasm and much shame-dread. When I saw the color, I thought “ok, this is something special, even if not why I bought it.” Then just about fainted when I checked the tag.

Ha! Thanks for the vivid description of the roller coaster ride. I am enjoying it vicariously! :drinks::tup:
I burn with fury over TRR's incomprehensible and counterproductive policy not to post photos of the inside tag, when every other reseller already does, so there's nothing secret about the tag. My roller coaster ride could have been avoided, and actually you'd have beaten me to the punch, if we could be certain what this bag was. For this reason TRR will always be the lazy, third-tier reseller, behind even individual sellers on EB, VC and PM.

Yeah, but their prices keep us buying.
