Sooo, I bought the S/S 13 Python A4 with that mystery stain, hahahaha.

It was recently relisted on TRR for less than the original price and I couldn't help myself...

Mystery stain in all its glory...

... and with one swipe of leather cleaner, it's (mostly) gone!

Interior still smells like leather and I can't find anything worn/wrong with it other than that mystery mark, so idk why the previous buyer returned/re-consigned it...!

Super into it, but going to tell myself it isn't exotic/snakeskin, ahaha...

The 2024 definitely does not come close to the 2000s Balenciaga leather. But I expected that. I bought it since I know I’d use it a lot and without having to worry about “preserving” it as much. It did bring back so much nostalgia, and definitely brought me back to this forum.

I’m still looking to acquire a couple more Black City bags c. 2003 -2009 time frame.

My recently acquired 2002 First in Black Monk is more of a special bag - it does feel more delicate to me but I’m also looking to add another Black First from the early NG era too.

💚 F/W 2009 Pommier City 💚 Mint condition and for Agneau leather this one gets my stamp of approval. :tup:

🩶 Matelasse Tote 🩶 I’ve been searching for this tote for over a year now and it exceeded my expectations. Not certain on the year or the color. I’m guessing ‘07 Plomb, but if someone happens to know please chime in! She’s a big, beautiful girl standing at 14” tall and 17” wide. :happydance:

A long-awaited beauty was delivered to me today - it feels like I've been waiting for her forever. Somehow she's even better than the photos :love: I have another little goodie arriving later this week so I'll also post when she arrives!
