Very pretty KR! I really like the smaller new charms and how they have a clasp. I sold my entire collection so I've not been checking-in but I still like to see pics:yes: I miss all of you ladies:heart::hugs:

They have some charms and jewelry at Macy's in Fresno. I didn't know Macy's carried Juicy jewelry. All the charms were styles from last year and were on sale. They had the dalmation, pink ice skate, pink box of candy, and a few others I can't remember. I had all of them but one, the bunny in a basket with Easter eggs. With a coupon, it only cost $14.30. It was originally $58.

I went back for the bunny a few weeks ago and the girl at the counter wanted to sell me it for $58 and wouldn't give me the sales price that the item was marked at I was very up set even more that after I told her no I was gonna pass on it she didn't put it back on the display she just put it away in a cabinet to never be seen again 😔

Cute! I love how you used that shell as a background. Maybe I can get one that has an "A" on it!

Anyway I just want to check in and show you girls my latest finds! I realized that Juicy made sterling silver charms! I am dying to collect more. I got myself a scottie dog and the flying pig charm. I love them to bits!

Which other ones are there? I know of a strawberry and purse. Should I worry about fakes? They don't seem very popular...

I also bought a sterling heart necklace with a matching key set. I gave the key to my boyfriend. ♡.

You know what, I love the pig so much, it gets one extra picture! :)

The Silver charms are so pretty. Love that little piggie charm:heart: Congrats on your new additions!! I believe KatieRose has all of the silver charms on a bracelet/necklace and there were maybe 8 or so? I know there were a few others done in silver besides the ones you've named but I can't remember at the moment. I have not seen many fakes but you can always check yours against those in the reference thread to be safe:smile1:

Tatertot nice to see you drop in.

Dressyup. Here are two pics of the two sterling silver charm bracelets I have. The top one is the one you add charms to and the bottom is a pre-made one I also purchased. Pardon the drabness of the charms as they cod all use a polishing. I also included a picture so you can see the ones that open and close. When worn all together they have a substantial amount of weight to them. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1412048371.412294.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1412048387.268049.jpg

Wow they are so pretty! I managed to nab that bracelet and I love it so much. It is really heavy but I enjoy it wearing it anyway.

I was looking at the pig and I am starting to think it is fake. The metal sounds weird and the crown etched on the crown doesn't look right. I found a fake of the yorkie on Tradesy and mine looks better than that. At least one I have is real.

Thanks Tatertot! Surprised to hear you sold your collection again, thought you were settling in with your favorites. We miss you too, so quiet around here. Do stop in when you have the time.

Hello!
that's weird that she wouldn't sell the charm for the marked price. Did you speak to the manager? I wonder what the reasoning was.

Thanks RE: my photo. I love wearing my charms, and am always looking for new ways to wear them.

I love the sterling silver charms, I have found 12 so far. There's a heart with arrow, bowler bag, scottie, a coach, flying pig, crown, perfume bottle, heart locket, pineapple, strawberry, large heart, and the cupcake. The crown is rare and the cupcake is hard to find also.

There's a few SS bracelets (without charms) so I think they may have sold the SS charms for a period of a few years. I know when I started collecting, there were a few that were easy to find and others were already scarce. Maybe someone has more info.

Yes there are fakes, the real SS charms always have a tiny crown printed on the clasp a little further up than on the regular charms.

Nice to see the SS charms on a bracelet. I use my sterling charms on necklaces as they seem too heavy for a fully loaded bracelet, though sometimes I'll use just one or two on a bracelet. But I also have the pre-made bracelet and I wear that one when I want a silver charm bracelet.

That's terrible. I'm so sorry. If it was marked on sale, she should have sold it to you. I would have made a stink and asked to speak to her supervisor. If she had scanned it, the cash register would have shown the sales price. I don't think they can override it to charge you more.

I can't recall ever paying full price for anything at Macy's. I've been told by people that work there that you should never shop on a Monday or Tuesday because the sales always start Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and usually continue through the weekend, but not always on Sunday.

I worked at Macy's for about 3 years, and that's true about Mondays & Tuesdays being the worst days to shop there. Only exception is Monday holidays like Memorial & Labor Day - the sale would run through those days.

Yep, I would have asked to see a manager. Coupons don't work on a lot of designer brands. Depends on the designer, whether they want their brand associated with coupons. JC is usually in the fine print on the coupons, along with Ralph Lauren, Kors, Dooney & Burke, Wacoal, even Levis and quite a few others.

However, coupons ALMOST ALWAYS work on clearance stuff unless they are on a one-day sale. All the JC charms that Macy's has are definitely on clearance.

Ladies, thanks for the posts & photos of the sterling charms! Wonderful to see
:yahoo:
Nice touch on showing the charms that open, Queen C - those have always been my faves.
The wheels on the carriage spin, don't they?
