I wonder what the "auction" L20 sold for?

After chasing down DHL she’s finally here!! I just can’t get over the smell and feel of the leather, the stitching, and the immaculate hardware. It is so comfortable to hold and wear and I love the thickness of the strap. It fits all I need (pictured plus lipstick/phone/keys can be squeezed) and I can’t wait to take it out. Bummed that customs opened it before I did and the ribbon was off etc. also I noticed a few faint marks on the inner body and under flap- not sure if it was customs or from the glazing process or sth… I tried to rub off gently with my finger but it’s not moving. I emailed about it to see what I should do to rub it out if possible. But honestly they are so faint and unnoticeable I don’t really want to send it back to replace. Would love to see more additions to the st Clair line

What are the available colors for ostrich Dianes? Curious to know why we didn't see any navy, royal blue, or blue-dominant violet ostrich Dianes in this presentation, when at Hermès, it's usually black and a type of blue that's always available for ostrich a la carte orders. If you all have any Joseph Duclos questions, let me know! I can ask their team!
Thank you so muchContrast stitching really shows it off, a very handsome piece.
I'm sorry for the imperfections, I hope that the patina will sort them out - if nothing works before
Any plans to introduce a bag with 2 handles that have some top closure? I like their horizontal tote bag for sure, but I would prefer to have some type of closure (flap, zipper, clasp, button, etc) that would provide some privacy. From their website, it doesn't look like their tote bags have such features. If you all have any Joseph Duclos questions, let me know! I can ask their team!
I am looking for this exact bag too. Double handle with a zipper or some sort of closure at the top. Would prefer shoulder length handles. And not tote size, but handbag size.Any plans to introduce a bag with 2 handles that have some top closure? I think from a leather expert perspective, those colors are not easy to maintain over a very long period of time for the skins specified. Perfect example was my blue jean-colored croc Hermes bag which was sooo pretty when I first bought it, but over time (it stayed in its dustbag and not exposed to direct light) it turned an almost yellowish greenish tint! I brought it back to my then-SA at hermes who said after having sent it to the atelier, that theres really not much they can do There are really certain pigments that absorb better on these skins (black, burgundy, dark brown, even dark navy), but I suppose the lighter ones (esp on croc skin) are more "challenging". I think that's something tanneries continue to work on and improve. Surely hermes had lots of issues too in the past with discolored ostrich and lighter - brighter colored crocWhat are the available colors for ostrich Dianes? How much did the one of a kind Diane L20 lizard with rose gold hardware sold for?
Are there any plans to introduce mixed material bags? Like what Hermès did with barenia-toile Kellys and Birkins. A mix of Heritage calf and cream canvas Diane L26, for example, would be great.
Is the all-black hardware available for special order in combination with non-exotic leathers such as black Heritage or black Lumière?
Are there plans to introduce new bag styles in the future? More specifically, are there plans to use the Arpège nubuck in other bag styles aside from the Saint-Claire messenger?
That's all I can think of for now. Apologies for the repeated Hermès comparison but it's pretty obvious it's the path they're gunning for so why not ask the relevant questions![]()
Thank you so much! And that’s ok it’s so faint it doesn’t bother me-I think it could fade with time!
I wish i was an insider! Am just a stalker of Ramesh Nair-designed bagsas a Duclos insider, maybe @thebaghag knows![]()
so pretty!View attachment 5870877
I just want to say, she is GORGEOUS!!! This aubergine Saint-Clair bag is a numbered, limited edition piece, fully hand-stitched (like the other Saint-Clair bags), and likewise 100% made in France Fell in love with this the very second I laid eyes on her
This is a VERY special piece. If you have the €€€, I highly recommend snatching up this baby, stat!
It's a little more expensive I think this was a very difficult leather color (with matching quality) to order!so pretty!
is it priced the same as the regular Saint-Clair messenger?
incredible!Sharing some of my favorites from the presentation last week. The suede BLUE DENIM colored CROC saint-clair was also to-die-for!!
The "unicorn" lizard Saint-Clair was beyond! I have never seen a color that striking before -- it was like a rainbow!
And the ice blue lizard clutch with that metallic dark blue hardware was rock solid spectacular! The lizard skin had some kind of shimmery glitter-like coat (very very evenly coated) and it looked so classy in person!
The lighting wasn't too great for photos I'm afraid, but trust me when I say everything looked a hundred times better in person than in these photos. Enjoy these!!
