Hi All,

Would like to seek comments on the Saint Clair mini clutch.

For the past few years, I've been buying preloved (mostly Hermes under the radar bags) since I don't ouch when I scratch my "new to me" bags or when need to rehome them. I am happy to wait for a good deal.

However, when I first saw the SC mini clutch, it is screaming to take me home. I don't expect it will be circulate in the 2nd hand market soon as well as since it doesn't have a store in my country so I can get a tax reduction of approx 15% by buying online, so I am really tempting to get it.

I haven't seen a JD bag in real but I used to own a Rejane and still have a Gabrielle clutch from Moynat so I am sure the quality will be as good.

You girls are really knowledgeable so would like to seek more feedback before I take my card out
i’m also considering this bag, i find it so beautiful!

I bought a (Ramesh design) Moynat tote last week, and ordered a Lectoure bag charm — inspiration to order a JD tote. I’ll post the charm photo after it arrives. My top three bags on my wishlist are JD. The Lectoure horizontal tote, Diane 26, and Fontélie have eclipsed another H bag. I never thought I’d see the day that an H bag isn’t first on my list. JD craftsmanship and quality have me hooked.
I’d like to thank those of you who share photos and JD product experiences.:flowers:

what was the H bag that got eclipsed, if I may ask? :D

I also have a JD bag on the top of my list: the Saint-Clair messenger in châtaignier. I'd get that first before any Kelly or that 25 cm Volynka Bolide.

from what I read from the Hermes subforum, lizard holds up pretty well, even for crossbody bags like the Constance

Thank you so much for this, I read though it, I guess is not as delicate as I thought.

Given 2023 is the 100th anniversary of the Bolide, I’d like another Bolide 31 in etain or etoupe.
I reeeeeallly like the Saint-Clair messenger — excellent choice! If JD adds a slightly larger version, it’ll be on my list. I carry too much stuff to make the currently offered size work for me.:frown:

I very much appreciate Ramesh's vision, but it seems clear that he does not employ a human female to vet his bag designs.

This is lovely but a key note is the word "not" in the description.
Indeed, any human female would have a lot to say about the limitations of that strap! I will likely get the pochette, because I think it’s very cute and the aubergine color is pretty, but that’ll be it for the Fontélie collection.
