GREAT NEWS EVERYONE! I got the call I have been waiting for this morning, and it was so ironic that I received the call in the same place I lost my rings where I was parked with my toddler this morning! The detective finally got a hold of the mother, and she is giving my rings back today
He asked me if I wanted to press charges, and I said no! Even though this woman was wrong & I hope she learned a lesson with a simple scare, I just don't want to cause her any harm specially during the holidays instead I will pray for her because God can do amazing things through love, understanding, and forgiveness! Like I told the detective all I want is what is mine returned back to me!
I cannot wait for my husband to put them back on my finger again & I am very emotional as this has been a very sad situation for us. I will let you guys know when I have them back in my possession, but detective said she has to bring them in today!
I have to say that you guys felt like real friends to me through out all of this & that really helped me through this so THANK YOU TPF friends for your advise, Wisdom, Encouragement, and most importantly all the love!

Haha! I was going to share them with you all tomorrow when I get them cleaned. They are still sealed in the Evidence bag from the police department because they have probably been worn by this lady & I just want them cleaned before they are placed back on my finger again!

Your rings are gorgeous! I don't blame you for wanting them cleaned before you wear them again. Don't want any of that woman's bad mojo. Be sure to post a pic of them nice & clean on your finger where they belong!!!

I almost fainted when I saw your ERing.. I have the exact same setting! Mine is Rh ring that was gifted to me.. I've never seen anyone with the same ring!

What beautiful rings! Yes, definitely get them cleaned to be rid of the bad vibes. Just seeing my rings in a police Evidence bag would cause me to freak.

I think this is why the lady didn't want to give them back, lolThey really are three rings, the middle diamond on my wedding ring was from the original engagement ring my husband proposed to me with which he had placed on this gorgeous ring. The picture make them no justice as these babies sparkle like no other, the diamonds have amazing clarity, I love my rings & I knew I was never going to get any like them again, but thank God this nightmare is over!
I will be getting them cleaned today, I am also going to have our jeweler inspect the diamonds to make sure none are loose as they took a big fall from my lap to the concrete floor & who knows if they were even stepped on before they were found.

I know, it was really sad that it took the School principal, Police & detective to almost stalk this lady to get her to give my rings back after three long days, but that is between her, her conscience & God. I would not have been able to sleep at night knowing she was in jail away from her son & family, I just wanted my rings back & I got them so the way I see it, happy ending for everyone (even if she doesn't see it that way) because she was facing some pretty serious time!
You are so kind and understanding not to press charges. Honestly, I can't imagine how this woman..another school mom...could even consider not giving them back. Especially once it was revealed that her son had found your rings. How can she face you at the school? How can she face the school principal? Oh dear.... I hope she finds the courage to apologize and then thank you for not pressing charges.
