Congrats on the plunge into the land of CLs Contessa! I have a pair of CL glitter shoes that I've yet to wear...but love to look at! I wear my flats far more often.... Hope they are something that you love!

I will hopefully find something that's chic & tolerable.

I say "tolerable" b/c way back when I was 10, some girl in class beside me decided to swing to & fro in her desk. Before I knew it, her AND the desk fell on top of my big toe on my right foot! Broken.....my Mom didn't take me to the hospital....you know...Moms know best :rolleyes:

Anyways....you'll have a good laugh as I headed out to a Christmas party w/ my husband tonight, I pulled out my rockin' Weitzman 5" heeled ankle boots, only to collapse on the bed in wicked pain. There was NO way I could wear the boot on my right (affected) foot. I was livid.....but sipped my drink, threw on my Geox shoes and sulked off...........

^I LOVE to cook, but hate to bake...especially cookies!!! yes, cooking is definitely best with alcohol. one for the cook, one for the dish, two for the cook, one for the dish...

I've never tried making boeuf bourgignon...I guess I should!

I'm really lucky, DH is a great cook, but I'm responsible for Friday nights. Tonight I did tacos. I made the guacamole and salsa fresh, fried ground turkey with a spice rub, sauteed pepper and onion, and used store bought shells. I love putting TONS of cilantro in the guac and salsa. The whole thing is sooooooo good with a beer.
