^am I the "L"? if so, thanks! I'm getting better every day thanks to tons of grapefruit juice & lots of rest.

contessa-- oh no...the jaw thing is awful! sounds like you need regular massages STAT!!!

Much better today.

Had a dream of getting into a physical fight with someone.....must be "work-related" LOL

Suffice it to say, I feel much better today! Jaw pain gone.....although I must be pre-occupied as my curling iron fell out of my hands this morning, burning my neck.....and as I tried to stop the box of rollers from falling, I inadvertently slammed my hip against the counter & as a result, my fibroids took me to another realm....where the stars encircled my head :D

^:push: oh no!!! I get in a similar clumsy/distracted mode when I'm PMSing...I hit the corners of walls with my shoulder. sheesh...burning your neck with the curling iron? uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh! today is the perfect day for a massage! btw, one of my closest friends has terrible fibroids, & she has found some relief with acupuncture.

Thanks Frick!

I've also read that accupuncture is good. I really want to avoid surgery if I can....but the days of bloating etc....makes me feel like a whale....when I'm really an 'eel'!!

^my friend had surgery. they wanted to do a 2nd surgery, but she refused. she went to a doctor here who is doing research on fibroids, & they did something along the lines of cutting the feeder blood vessels & injecting saline into the fibroids to kill them. it seems to have worked...she used to be in unbearable pain most of the time.

Interesting stuff.

In many cases they disappear w/o any interventions however, each case is different & the pain can be a deciding factor many times.

LOL! Gotta get that retail therapy!!!

My DD wants one since I took her in the store in Times Square and told her how Mommy loved her Swatch's growing up
I think I'll get her one for Christmas!

It was just a total impulse buy. I have kind of been looking at a getting a fun watch as a "starter", to see if I want to work toward a "real" watch. It was $65.

Swanky, if you buy 2, you get a free set of Swatch Guards. Remember those?!

OMG that's hillarious  I used to have a couple in high school.....and the watch guards.......too funny

Yes, you are the "L" L, lol. How are you feeling? When I get sick, rest is what fixes me up. Which probably means I get sick from a lack of rest.

OMG, are you okay? I just burned my arm with the curling iron two weeks ago. It is still not completely healed. Hope you are feeling better. Have you decided on whether or not you are going to try out a chiropractor?

This made me laugh. I haven't seen a Swatch in forever! Amazing that they are still around. Someone must be buying them.
