^have a great trip! I've been sick & sleeping all weekend

Due to my recent car collision, I've been seeing a Chiropractor.....BIG mistake as the adjustments are KILLING me. I could barely function for most of the weekend.

I need some time off.....and some extra $$$ to online shop....best therapy when you're sick and in bed I think ;)

^I can't even keep my eyes open. they're all blurry & watery from being on tpf for an hour...lol! I wear my favorite jewelry while I'm sick in bed...that makes me feel better :p

I'm sorry about your car accident, but PLEASE keep going to your chiropractor. he'll get you all "straightened" out! ;)

haha FF thats awesome! I'm going to do that from now on if i'm sick....just load it all on!!! feel better soon :D

Contessa- ouch that doesn't sound good. I've never been to a chiropractor but i have been told it supposed to feel like a bit of pressure and then a release of tension...not excessive pain :S

They didn't seem to have much of a discount. The YSL was an easy bag, and the "Y" had like metal gromits or something. Not sure the MSRP, but I think it was $1199 there.

My friend works for the corp. offices, and she said to go on the website and look for the stores listed as "Runway".

I need to pack for a little work trip to TX that I'm leaving for in the AM.
thanks! have a safe trip.:smile1:

Let's just say I skipped my appointment today for a reason :D

Contessa: I wasn't in a car accident but do have a few herniated disks in my back. When the first disk flared up I did go to a chiropractor. She was helpful but I never could relax during these appts. I absolutely hated the sudden movements, etc. I now go for a deep tissue massage once a month and my back is doing pretty good. Don't know if this is something that could possibly alleviate your discomfort but I absolutely GET what you are saying about the chiro experience. Hope you feel better soon!

I've been going to a chiro for 2 years now. I found that at first, I found the adjustments somewhat uncomfortable, but now I feel like they really keep my muscles from going into the major spasms that I had for years and years before. I think with a chiro it's also super important to find the right one for YOU. Good luck, whether you decide to keep going or find something else.

I'm in TX all by myself. Wah!

I feel a lot better today...thanks everyone.

contessa-- I was in a serious car accident years ago. I couldn't be consistent with my chiropractor visits because I was in college at the time (I went to college in a small town 1000+ miles away from home...I wasn't about to try to find a good chiro there). I'm convinced that my neck & back would be in much better shape if I had been able to go to the chiropractor regularly. but lanasyogamama is right...you have to find the right chiro for you.

lanasyogamama-- hope you're able to have some kind of fun while you're away!

Bagaday.....that sounds EXACTLY like what I need. Bottom line, the sudden "adjustments" aren't for me I don't think.

My Chiro is very nice. I know she won't take it at all personally, but what I'm really after I think is some deep tissue massages. I find that I just can't relax during the chiro sessions.

Glad to hear you're feeling better Frick & Frack. It's NO fun being sick.

I'm finding today I have had a LOT of unnecessary stress from my day job coupled with a migraine and jaw pain in my lower left jaw that could be stemming from my clenching during the night. YES.....I know....I need a mouth guard LOL

Swanky....any updates regarding the setting?? I need a distraction!!!!

^am I the "L"? if so, thanks! I'm getting better every day thanks to tons of grapefruit juice & lots of rest.

contessa-- oh no...the jaw thing is awful! sounds like you need regular massages STAT!!!
