Kitsungrl: your jewelry box sounds lovely. Do you have any pics? ;)

cakegirl: Ooh, I was looking at that one this morning. Can you tell me if the bottom two drawers are divided?

Here are some others that I'm considering.
Pottery Barn McKenna - I like how this one has holders for watches but it doesn't look like there are many compartments for earrings. Plus, it's kind of pricey!

Red Envelope - The hidden necklace holder is neat.

QVC Safekeeper - This one is perhaps the most efficient use of space and most economical but I'm concerned about the quality.

Would love to see more examples!

I need one that can hold a lot of chains and pendants and necklaces; I have one but the quality is not as high as the price was. I would like to find a good replacement. Anyone seen something like this? Thanks!

I saw a gorgeous LV one in Vogue a while ago - ivoire Suhali leather with lots of shelves and drawers. The cutest part was the small travel box - I love the idea of having a smaller box for when you're going away for the weekend and just need some essentials and dinner/cocktail pieces. I've never seen the LV jewellery box on their website though, might be something you can only enquire about in stores.

I think this is quite cool:

The bottom drawer is not divided, 2nd to last is divided in thirds.
I looked at the McKenna box as well- for me it wasted too much space on the travel boxes, which I don't really use. I don't like to travel with a lot of jewelry.

I don't like to travel with a lot of jewelry.

I agree, but usually when I'm traveling I have my day jewellery which I wear on the plane and you still need something for evening (cocktail ring, drop earrings, maybe some bracelets/bangles). I worry about these pieces and think I should have a little travel jewellery case to keep them safe...

do you guys store your fashion jewelry with your fine jewelry? where do you keep your fashion jewelry?

my bangles(fashion) are way to big and chunky to fit in my jewelry box

I have a jewelry box from the Bombay Company (I'm attaching the picture from the Bombay Company website). I really love it. It opens up on top and has a mirror and 4 sections for various items. It has 3 good-sized drawers and a fourth drawer with a section for rings. There are 2 doors on the sides that open with an area for necklaces, etc. It's a great jewelry box!

I would love the LV one, but at $33,000 that's not happening anytime soon, I have decided that when the time is right I will opt for something like this one

I began this quest, after seeing gorgeous jewelry boxes on display at Coach on Madison Ave. when I inquired I was told that they were made just for display by Coach and I wouldn't be able to order or purchase one...this made me very sad as they were covered in gorgeous colored textured leather

I have this soft sided one for travel:

I don't like to put jewelry in my checked luggage and I can just slip it in my purse.
