Hi,

I am looking for a relatively large jewelry box for $200 or less to keep my jewelry collection in. Does anyone have any suggestions for boxes or know where I could look for one?

Thanks!

i second the pottery barn suggestion. they have very decently priced jewelry boxes that are of good quality. i bought one for a friend for a birthday present a few years ago and she loves it.

Does anyone have any good sites for large jewelry boxes that can hold a lot of pendant/chain necklaces, bracelets and rings? and earrings, to - even if just in a compartment, it would be mostly hoop earrings and studs (not diamond)

Locking would be nice, but not necessary. I don't really have room in my bedroom for the floor-standing ones, but if I feel it fits the bill the best, I could consider it.

Lots of small boxes out there, but I have a lot of stuff (not all expensive, but I like to be able to find things easily when I am looking for them)

TIA!

If you decide to do floor standing, look at JCPenny's. In store usually has more, but maybe they have some online. My last two were from there and they are both huge and gorgeous...great quality. And if you can get the timing right with a sale, you can get a heck of a deal.
My mom made her own peg board and hung it in her closet on the wal. She can hang LOTS of necklaces, bracelets, hoop earrings and even rings on it, She devised something for her post earrings, but I don't remember what it is anymore.

I also stumbled upon my favorite jewelry chest at JCPenney. I went in to browse Sephora, I came out with a gorgeous 4 foot tall cherry jewelry chest. 6 full sized drawers, 2 full length doors, 4 smaller, compartment style drawers, and a ring tray that holds about 30 rings. Great buy for $200. It's really pretty...and surprisingly inexpensive.
