i initially felt a bit sorry for jessica just bc it must have been so embarrassing, but it IS her job as a singer to act professionally. if she knew she was doing a tribute to dolly parton, she should really have had that song memorized. why did she need cue cards?
she should have focused on her work and dressed a bit better. i mean, she's being surrounded by true celebs like tom hanks, reese witherspoon, etc so i think she should have classed it up more.
but, how sweet of reese to comfort her! i love reese.

the heart one was from American eagle

and the one under it, that the heart shape actually goes over and cover..i got that at sterling silver works.

unfortunately i lose things easily. so i guess it's good that i get them cheap?

In one othe Newlyweds episode, she was practising for a new song and she couldn't pronounce the word.

I empathize as a singer/performer back in the day (no not professionally) and sometimes it sucks when you're in an emotional mood, forgetful, or have wardrobe problems. BUT ya gotta deliver. Jess has been on stage since she was a kid and so I don't feel sorry for her. Did she need her appendix out? Sure we're human, but that was unprofessional. Glad Reese was there for some support.

I don't really know how I feel about this...

On the one-hand I really feel like she is a spoiled whinny brat and it's good that she is getting taken down a notch or two. However I feel a bit bad with all of the things going on in her life. It must be hard seeing Nick with Vanessa, then her crazy dad and it's obvious to me that John Mayer is not as into her as she is in him.

I feel embarassed for Jessica Simpson, she knew that night would be star studded. If she can't handle the heat, then get out of the kitchen.

She is way too overexposed. She's only famous for her stupid blonde look and not for her talent.

Am I the only one that find Jessica's "head bopping while she's singing" look ridiculous? Can't she sing without the weird bobblehead move?

Why wouldn't she pick a song where she was more familiar with the lyrics?

I would've picked "I Will Always Love You" (because it was Dolly's first) but that's just me!



But I do feel bad for Jessica, and Reese was so sweet!
