Just curious but does anyone know if the prices are cheaper in france compared to the NYC store. The euro is quite low to the dollar right now which is why I asked. I bought my billy in Paris 2 years ago when the euro was also quite low and i remember it being a few hundred cheaper than the current price in us sites..

Thinking of getting another but wondering if I should have a friend pick it up from the french shop instead.

The prices should be lower in Paris as the base price is usually lower and then there's the 12% detaxe to lower the price more. I've been buying handbags in Paris regularly since 1980. You do need to remember, however, that you get $800. duty free when you return into the U.S.

I've only recently heard of Jerome Dreyfuss handbags and already I'm in love. I'm really coveting the Twee Mini, but can't decide which color I want: blue, black, rust, or red. My style is really quite simple and classic, and I wear a lot of neutral colors like black and gray, so I'm gravitating toward the red. Which is so unlike me, but I can't help it! Does anyone have any advice as to which color to choose?

Sounds like you already know what you want -- the red would definitely add a lovely splash of color to your outfits, but won't be overpowering because of the bag's small size. Jerome Dreyfuss bags have fantastically soft leather that feel great when worn. :heart: Share some pictures with us if you go for it!

You're so right, mochiblure. Thanks for the advice. I called the NY boutique today and a red twee-mini is on its way to me. Pictures are forthcoming!

Congrats, can't wait to see your pictures! The SAs at the SoHo boutique are so friendly, such a great store to visit. Last time I was there, they had bags in this light grey printed leather that were just so soft -- really amazing. They also had the new Carlos design in store, very eye-catching, unusual design but I really like it too!

And that's my sweet little Birman kitty in my avatar. He has the softest fur ever, which is great except for when it sheds all over the place!

My new twee mini has arrived and it's gorgeous! I couldn't be happier with it. The sales assistant who helped me wrote the loveliest note, too. Here a couple pics I snapped from my phone:

Surprisingly, I can fit more than I thought I could in my new twee mini. It has these ingenious little pockets for credit cards and such, so I stash those there. I also tend to store my keys, phone, cash, and a lip balm. I even put my boyfriend's wallet in there recently and it all fit beautifully. I am very pleased! :D
