I assume she'll keep the rings and any other jewellery given to her from him? They're worth a pretty penny, no doubt, so when the mansion sells she can keep the proceeds and probably be about break-even on "costs".

Very unseemly behaviour to want a full breakdown of how much she spent. It was a marriage. Or, was it a business deal? It would seem the latter.

She's squandered millions on worthless projects so maybe she wants to try and recoup some money. Still, she'll never be short of a bob or two so it's wiser to keep her dignity instead.

Next, we’ll learn they split the cost of the ring.

Is saying Russia and Moscow not allowed now?
People care over there too?
Wow, they should be flattered, they are worlwide:P
I got deleted for stating a fact in a person's specific thread - that person wanted to run for something, end of that very short sentence... and it was considered too political.

Back to JLo - remember when she got married and legally changed her name to Affleck because she said it was more romantic? Jennifer Affleck was all in. I find it hard to believe she was the one who gave up on the marriage so quickly.

It's a Brunello Cucinelli dress. If you don't know about BC, he bought the town his wife grew up in on Italy. It's called Solomeo. He renovated the entire town. It's very small. Beautiful place. He build a theater there, too.

And he pays his people well, feeds them a gourmet 5 course lunch daily (we were invited to join when we were there) and lets them take long lunch breaks. It's definitely a philosophy. I toured his school where they teach the new apprentices how they do things. They have a new class each year. They showed us how they only use the best cashmere and literally feed the threads in one by one into the machine that weaves the cashmere. The quality of the items is very high but like every designer, their prices have skyrocketed over the last few years. But the quality is there for sure. Also, with that particular dress, you can see at the top there is something they call a monilli, which is the BC signature thing. It's a metallic thing. When they put those on, it really drives up the price. This piece has an overlay of the monilli, which was why the price is so high. https://shop.brunellocucinelli.com/...mpsuits/precious-net-dress-241MMONLASR83.html

That's all great, but it's still ugly :sunnies:

It would look great on a tall slim person, don't you think? JLo is rather short if I remember.

Agreed. There's a person for every outfit, just like there's an outfit for every person. Even if someone looked good in a no-sleeve V-neck jumpsuit, it's made out of the wrong fabric for its shape for 90% of women. BC is supposed to be effortless, everyday dressing. I can imagine A 'V' (emphasizing shoulders) or 'I' type (adding curves and softness) but then they would be dressing against their type (disharmony). Someone with curves doesn't want the crispness and extra volume under the arms, even hips, they need drape and hang for emphasis, undulating folds that move over the body, closer to the body, not crisp folds, blouson and puckering. I think JL thought that because it has waist emphasis, it's a jumpsuit that would suit her, it's not true. That colour is a bit too cool and bright for JL. Doesn't matter how much it cost or who made it, it's just an ugly nipped-in bedsheet.

1. Wrong colour for her
2. Wrong shape for her
3. Wrong material for her

I actually didn't mind her in the baggy jeans, crop top and cardigan (although the cardi colour is not great on her). "JLO BE MY MAMA" is a bit weird - in every vague way - and the cleaner than my teeth bright-white sneakers/trainers break-up her vertical line into more 'bits', an onlookers eye can only look at a couple of places at once. The emphasis should be on the erogenous zone ('made you look') in this case JL's bare mid-section, then her face. Stupid white plastic shoes and infantile 'cute' slogans should not be competing for our attention.

Honestly, the blue one JLo is wearing looks like something another "favorite" topic of many of us in another thread (TW anyone?) would wear. Wrinkly, ill fitting, mess.
Unlike someone else (who we won't mention) J'Lo has a much easier and desirable figure and her face could launch 1000 ships. She obviously has many insecurities which manifest in some very grating ways, but unlike the non-aforementioned, who can't do dress-up at all, JL can pull-off the 'sexy' and 'groomed' look, and in many ways, in fact JL does evening better than she does day.

I think we have all dressed for the person we'd like to be at some time in our lives. I haven't followed JLo very much, she's just another US celeb for me, but I think she's very beautiful. She's undergone many big changes recently, maybe, the make-up/break-up, she's trying a new look to reinvigorate herself.
