Menopause can really take a toll. :frown:
Agree 100%! I'm Jen's age, and I'm experiencing this firsthand, but without the fillers and the procedures (no judgment on those who do; it's just not me). My formerly low-maintenance skin is suddenly showing its age in ways it hasn't before. Luckily, my living does not rely on my appearance, so I only have to adapt to it personally, not professionally.

Haha me too. And the worst is when you catch yourself on a camera somewhere. Who is that scary old lady?
I have the same thought when I get a glimpse of myself in the mirror first thing in the morning.

It’s been 30 years since Friends premiered. Jen shouldn’t have to feel like she must hold on to her youth, but that’s the industry she’s in. It’s a shallow world based on superficial appearances. Looking old means she won’t get acting jobs. She isn’t ready to retire so she has to have work done.

"...she also offsets that skincare-wise by smoking and tanning quite a bit".
Ugh, why? I know, Hollywood. But I know two men who died recently in their early sixties, one from lung cancer and one from skin cancer. They were very successful, happily married with great families. Maybe she'll realize she is not invincible and will reconsider those activities.

You should look into the Korean skincare method. Dehydrated skin like Jennifer’s, makes things look so much worse.
The Korean method is all about hydration, like an obscene amount of hydration, but it really does work wonders.

I have a Korean friend who has the most amazing skin and you're right, it's all about hydration so there is literally no room to grow wrinkles.

A brand that is pulled from the US is Amore Pacific. I cannot think any Korean brands sold in the US right now.

But on the other hand, Southern California is SO dry, how can you keep your skin properly or overly hydrated. Northern CA is better for skin in my opinion.

You don't think Jen has access to the best-in-the-world skincare, plus doctors and estheticians who know all this?

I think it's too heavy makeup settling into her pores and high resolution cameras that capture, with extreme clarity, every detail on her face. She probably looks better without foundation, although that may not look red carpet ready for this event.

Too much filler, yes, but her skin is probably pretty good and well hydrated under that cakey makeup.

and being criticized for her appearance must hurt. she had a mother who did that to her when she was a young girl
