A day after Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez tied the knot in Venice, many of their remaining guests gathered at the fabled Harry's Barin downtown San Marcos for a post-nuptial lunch. This, after a party on the island of San Giorgio that reportedly lasted until 2 a.m., and included some high-profile performances.
While some guests (such as Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan) left after the Saturday ceremony, many have remained in town. Spotted on the street were Orlando Bloom and Tom Brady, as well as Sydney Sweeney alongside Karlie Kloss.
They and other party members such as Usher and a selfie-snapping Tommy Hilfiger joined the Bezoses for lunch at Harry's, where the group dined on pizza and sipped bellinis.
The venue was surrounded by photographers and onlookers, with many shouting best wishes and questions at the billionaire Amazon founder. Some called queries about the protests that have rocked the city, but Jeff Bezos did not respond (perhaps he's allowing his 3 million Euro donation to speak for him). Others realized when Bezos arrived that they'd been tricked into a selfie with his doppelganger, former German electrician Cagdas Halicilar who now works as a lookalike for the billionaire.
The newlyweds looked fresh as daisies after their night of celebration—an event that reportedly went on until early Saturday morning. The shindig saw Tom Brady dancing with Sweeney and model Brooks Nader; he even took over for DJ Kygo at one point. Also taking the stage was Ellie Goulding, who performed four or five songs, Matteo Bocelli also performed at the reception. Yet another party is planned for tonight, with still more performers expected to lend their talents to the freshly linked couple.

Newly married Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have departed Venice on Sunday after their three-day wedding extravaganza.

Each to their own, the most outlandish two parties I can think of is the recent Ambani wedding and Malcolm Forbes 70th birthday party in 1989 where he flew in 800 high profile mover and shaker guests on a chartered 747, a DC8 and the Concorde to a palace he owned in Morocco. Bezos' wedding in comparison to those actually looked subdued considering his wealth.

Yup. Ted Kennedy got one, too.This. DH and I attended a wedding earlier this summer in a Catholic church in which both bride and groom were divorced and both had been previously married in a Catholic church. Did they both get annulments? No idea. The church has loosened some of the old rules.
Years ago there was a bit of a scandal because Joseph Kennedy had somehow convinced the Boston archdiocese to permit one of his divorced children to remarry in the Catholic church without obtaining an annulment. There was even speculation that he had bribed the pope.Who knows the true story, but money can do a lot.
Who knows what type of ceremony the Bezos had. They may have just rented the church for the day and had Bill Gates officiating.

I heard something about caviar.Well, like I asked. What was on the menu and did any of those ozempic celebs eat?
I'm sure the food was wonderful. Hope the little people who were working the party got to take some home.
It's an honest question - what do you think was served?
Caviar, truffles, lobster, wagyu and lots of champagne would be my guess. Not that any of the guests consume very much food.
I think they are truly in love and not just infatuation. They have been together for some time now. I’ve read that one of the things that broke up his marriage to Mackenzie is that he’s an extrovert and loves the parties and celebrity while Mackenzie is an introvert and would rather stay home. He and Lauren certainly have that in common. Neither shys away from the paparazzi.
I don’t care for her dress but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her wear something that looks good on her. She’s so masculine looking and just loves to show off her huge fake breasts.
I always wonder at these big celebrity events how many guests are friends and how many are just famous names to put on the guest list.

The menu of my dreams
I just read a post that said “you clearly have no real friends if you’re inviting Sydney Sweeney to your 200 person wedding” that make me chuckle
Must be exhausting being in these tight Kardashian-style dresses all the times.
When I look at the pics all I can think about is all that industrial-strength glue necessary to hold the boobs in the Kardashian-style dresses.
And then when the gals get home, all the rashes from trying to pry the boobs out of the glue and the dresses.
All I could think was why would anyone want to be this uncomfortable for 3 days straight. All her dresses looked painful to wear. That too. Looking at the pics of the guests I wondered 'You go to Venice to party for three days and you wear clothes in which you can barely stand, walk, sit down, breath or eat? What is wrong with you people?'
