  1. So, the way I see it, every country has their own luxury accessories and leather goods brand(s). Spain has Loewe, Switzerland has Bally, and France and Italy have a multitude. We here in the USA have the likes of Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, and Reed Krakoff among many others, while the UK has Burberry, Mulberry, Alexander McQueen, etc.

So...what Japanese brands are the stars of Japan?

I've heard of Yohji Yamamato and Comme de Garcons, but only barely...

I was also thinking Kenzo, but turns out that's actually French through a Japanese designer...

Not counting fine jewelers (Mikimoto) and watchmakers (Credor), or Sanrio's high-end through it's many licenses. Preferably someone I can buy eventually buy a mens wallet from, heh heh...

  2. Some brands popular in Japan for accessories:
    Head Porter
Bape (kanye and pharell wear this)
    Samantha Thavasa
    Samantha vega
    Ante Prima Plastic
Burberry blue label/black label (it's not a Japanese brand but these are only available in Japan and I feel like they have their own design team in Japan)

That's as much as I remember now
Maybe bape or head porter would be your best bet for a mens wallet. But it's not "luxury" per say.

  3. Takahashi Murakami did accessories for Vuitton, of course.
