I have a pastel light green mini (posted somewhere above in this thread) which I have not dared to use yet!
My SA said:
- Cotton clothing - don't wear the bag with new clothes, if it's been washed a few times it will be ok
- Non-cotton material is ok, no colour transfer (she referenced the skirt I was wearing - I have no idea what that material is called sorry!)
- Avoid jeans

I have not used it yet - it's Lunar New Year which means I have been wearing lots of new clothes! - but I need to get over my fear of colour transfer and bring her out soon!! Let me know how you get along with your light grey!

And here she is next to her slightly older sibling, a jumbo flap from 2008. The jumbo’s caviar feels more rigid and less soft. Both caviars are beautiful in their own way but I guess it’s true the leather can vary season to season?

I don't mind going the pre-loved route. Many ppl buy handbags but they never wear them much, so you can still find pristine luxury bags from many years ago. Congrats. The caviar is gorgeous.

Thank you! The condition is indeed quite good, which makes me think the previous owner didn’t use it much. There’s some minor creasing but I think it’s due to inadequate stuffing during storage. The interior is spotless.

I got the same too! Just wondering did your mini have a lot of creasing when you open the bag? I saw most of them are and picked 1/3 that has less creasing eventually lol

I have a light grey mini. So far no color transfer and been pretty durable. I baby my bags though, don’t over stuff and make sure it never touches the floor.

I bought mine in perfect condition so I didn’t notice creasing until I started wearing it. There’s faint creasing on the back where the bag opens. Perhaps there was more creasing on the models you saw because a lot of people viewed the bag before you purchased it or maybe creases are just more noticeable because of the color of the bag!

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on PF, so not sure if I’m going about it correctly, but I’m in such a dilemma and needed advice. I got my first Chanel bag, and I’ve always wanted a Boy bag(just love the more casual and low maintenance look to it). So my mom and I saw this at the boutique and got it, but I’m wondering if I should exchange it for a more classic black with antique gold hardware instead. So the chain all around is the seasonal one I bought but trying to decide if I should keep it or look for the more simpler one.
