If you are a true Janet fan you understand what Janet is saying she knows she has to do interviews to promote but she doesn't like doing them lol. Janet has always seemed to prefer making music, music videos, and performing more than actually promoting her work. Rather than doing interviews Janet has always showed us more behind the scenes footage of herself on her down time, going to events, or working (writing music, in the recording studio, or making music videos).
Janet has never seemed comfortable with that many interviewers. I said this before years ago on a different forum back when Janet went through a few years of not doing interviews. If you have watched Janet interviews over the years she has truly ever seemed comfortable in interviews with Robin Roberts, Kevin Frazier, Larry King, John Norris, Anderson Cooper, Bill Bellamy, Tyra Banks, Tyler Perry, & very few other not as well-known interviewers. And of those interviewers I actually don't even really want to include Tyra Banks and Tyler Perry because they aren't good interviewers but Janet's friends so of course she is obviously pretty comfortable with them. She does come off more comfortable in print interviews then filmed interviews but there is still often a guard up.

amazing how she can get back in shape....I guess dancing will do that
So refreshing to see a performer wearing decent costumes, who doesn't have her a$$ and crotch on full show.
Note to all other performers (eg, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift etc) you can be fully dressed with barely any skin showing and still perform well, put on a great show and look gorgeous and sexy. So sick of all these singers nowadays performing while wearing nothing but glorified swimsuits covered in sequins and calling it a 'costume'.
Bravo to Janet for bringing the class and showing the rest how it's done.
