Come celebrate/scold my gambler's trigger finger. I bought this for 1. way too much, given obvious fading, and 2. no guarantees that my hunch is correct, which is that this is an 04 eggplant. I consider myself a foster mom for beat up/non-pristine vintage pieces that will still get plenty of love from me. But seriously, I have no evidence that this is an eggplant, so in the end there could be egg on my face. The only detail I had to go on was the thin tassels, which I've only seen on pre-05 makeups. And I consoled myself with the price given that "at least the back side isn't faded

I had looked at this before and almost bought it.. If it is indeed Eggplant, you didn't pay too much IMO.
I'm hoping that the fading is mostly camera flash because it looks faded in photo 1 but the others, especially the last photo look pretty good and not faded.
The leather & color looks exactly like my Eggplant MU.
