Completely inappropriate and disgusting. You look at the mother and no wonder... she clearly has issues. I don't have a daughter myself, but I'm more conservative than other people, and when I see some of the prom dresses girls 10 years older than me wear, I cringe. I'd never let my daughter go anywhere with her boobs hanging out at that age (16), let alone at 11 or 14! :wtf: Especially with all of the sick people out there... why would you want to draw attention to yourself like that?! What is this world coming to?

Hey somebody has to defend Ms Jagger and her daughters. In the first place, for whatever reason, this is the fashion now - look at any of the shops like RAVE and WET SEAL and CHARLOTTE RUSSE that sell clothes to teenagers and young women. In the 2nd place, it is inherently ridiculous to try to keep people who are physically women totally children. I know our economy requires they stay in the education system and do not go to work probably until they are over 21, but still their bodies are adult and "the mind" follows. Jade's younger daughter may not be quite there yet, but surely she is on the verge. Please remember, only about 100 years ago in most cultures the older daughter would've been considered marriageable. Do you think we have evolved physically that much in 100 years? I have always thought, the reason so many young people now (male and female) get into so much trouble is that we try hard to keep them children WAY past the age when it's appropriate to do so - and economic reality supports this custom------but it can't change who and what they are
By the way, I am a senior citizen so I've had some years to observe and change my mind about this if I'd seen something to change it - but I have not changed my mind.

how is a plunging neckline appropriate for a 11 and 14 year old? they have NOTHING to fill it in. They shouldnt even be wearing bras.

This is an old thread!

Anyway, one hundred years ago women were totally covered up. Now teenagers and young women are encouraged to expose their bodies. Is this progress?? So I agree 'how is a plunging neckline appropriate for a 11 and 14 year old?' I would go even further to say even if they had ample chests it's still not appropriate to have them on display.
