I totally know the feeling! I've had many bags slip out of my reach and especially Watercolor Speedys--my HG! It took me almost a year to get one (after a year of simply drooling over it and never thinking I'd get one) and by then the price had gone up! I would authenticate but don't beat yourself up. Sometimes things are meant to be. Maybe you're meant to find a Nolita or a different bag. In fact there are bags I coveted that I'm kind of glad I never got!
