Is this my first Chanel bag?

I am in LOVE with this medium/large classic flap with ruthenium hardware but sad I cannot wear it crossbody like the mini. It is still a lovely piece.
Should I pull the trigger and get it anyway knowing I am limited to shoulder carry?
I originally went in for a mini rectangle flap but now I'm not sure!
What do you guys think?

Personally, I love the M/L CF and with that ruthenium hardware, it is even more special in my opinion. I also find the M/L CF to be much more versatile since it can be dressed up or down. However, if you are a casual dresser and don't need a bag that can transition as easily to evening, and if cross-body is very important to you, then you should probably get the mini. But my vote is for the M/L CF. Good luck deciding. You can't go wrong with either.

I love the classic m/L due to the ruthenium hardware. The size also suits you a lot, even if it's only limited to carry as a shoulder bag

I feel like you've answered your own question on which to get. If you're coveting the mini and want a crossbody, you should totally get the mini. But you can't go wrong with either one! Good luck =]

The medium flap looks much better on you, but I bought one of those and ended up bringing it back, because just couldn't wear it on my shoulder.... It is really really pretty!

I would get the medium, it is more versatile. I think the mini is a little short on you.

I would get m/l for my 1st chanel !! (and which I actually did)
Mini is cute but not for the 1st chanel IMO.
