Is this Givenchy worth buying

Hi everyone. I haven't followed Givenchy very closely, but somebody I know is selling this bag for $300, unused. I quite like it, esp. since I have been on the hunt for a casual small black bag, and this perfectly fits the bill. But not sure if it's completely outdated and maybe considered tacky?

To be honest, it's dated for sure (I recall having a Gucci bag in a similar non-tassled style maybe 15 or so years ago). However, they say the Dior saddle bags are making a comeback, so you may be right on trend: http://nypost.com/2017/08/29/this-kooky-sex-and-the-city-look-is-cool-again/

So, if you really like it (not just because it's relatively inexpensive), I say get it. If not, that $300 should be put toward better use.

This is becoming a major trend. The thing is with fashion, something that was once dated will eventually be recycled back in vogue. This is why you should just buy what you want! If it works with your wardrobe and you will use it then that's a good enough reason to buy.
