Is this beaded Baguette worth it for $500?

I think this is lovely and the price is right, but will it completely fall apart? Can I fix it myself? Does Fendi repair preloved items (not that I would likely do that. I bet it takes forever and costs a fortune).

Thoughts?

I think I should take a pass, but wanted to chat with you wise folks.

I would pass. There are many vintage sellers/shops that gave beaded bags at good prices and they are in much better shape.

Pass. It looks exhausted, and that's just the outside. I think it's had a hard life and the interior will be grim.

There are plenty of bags out there, the right one in the right condition at the right price will appear.

Agree, pass as this bag has seen better days & for the cost of the repair if Fendi still repairs
the Baguette, the cost would probably IMO not be worth it..

And also, shame on me! I was actually shopping for a baguette for my daughter and then ran into this thought "Beaded! Sparkley! Pretty!" I got derailed from my mission.

Back to Xmas shopping for the college gal!

Actually you should've bought it, the price was very good for this kind of beading and the repair wouldn't have been too much of a hassle if you know how to use a needle and thread since this only needed a little bit of "couching" on the few loose strings and its not missing a lot of beads beyond that. It could have been done in like 90min
