I am desperately seeking a 2 3/4 - 3" heeled classic pump that will stay comfortably on my feet. I am a medium 7 1/2 shoe size but, my heels are very narrow so all gorgeous pumps go flying off my feet. I can get away with a sling back but, I really want to be able to wear a beautiful pump. Anyone else with this same problem? Please don't recommend the sole of the foot pad or heel pads. I was actually considering having custom made shoes.

Ferragamo does width fittings but there's still no guarantee for heels, Blahniks make mid-heels look elegant. Blahniks also have some designs that have stones or detail that look like embellishment but act to hold the foot.
I would add a suede heel grip too whatever you get.
Custom shoes are not made to measure. Custom shoes are all made on a standard last. You may need made to measure, meaning they will also make you your own last, just for your own 2 feet (some people have different L and R). The first pair will be quite expensive because of the additional expense but subsequent pairs should be less.
