balenciaga work would def hold a laptop. balenciaga is very light to being with so it might seem like a good choice. i haven't tried putting a laptop in my bbag though (i have a city, so it would have been too small for a laptop to fit in anyways)

you can perhaps also look into LV? i have a cabas piano which is too small for a laptop, but you can try for cabas mezzo which can fit quite a bit. the only caveat to that is that the light honey colored straps will patina after a while and you will have to be more careful not to dirty it. else, you can look into damier neverfull (not yet available in NA, but has been released in Asia i believe) the largest size fits a lot, and i have seen people put in laptops. the only downside is that it is not ziptop.

also another option to look into is Gucci. they have a luggage line that is PVC canvas -- very durable, but slightly heavier than LV. one look out -- don't buy anything with white straps (i have one from that collection that has a white strap and now it looks all dirty :sad:)

i'm sure the other ladies here can give you lots of advice about which chanel would fit a laptop :p

Hi all. I am a newbie to Chanel. I was wondering if anyone can help with recommending on which bag to get to use with a laptop. I have a 14 inch laptop. I don't really like the "Vanessa Huggens" reissue laptop case. I don't want open top bags; I was looking for leather. I went to my local boutique to check out the selection and it wasn't much. I don't really want to spend more than $3000 for a bag. Please advise. TIA.

^^I agree, Chanel might not be the best in your case. You may want to check LV since they also have great leather bags that you may use to carry a laptop. I highly recommend the Madeliene GM in Epi leather. Good luck.

I will soon be changing jobs and as part of my new role I will be carrying a 13" laptop (albeit a slim/light Mac Air) every day.

I currently have a single flap caviar maxi which I think will JUST fit the laptop, but I think it may be best if I have an open top bag for every day use both for ease of access and to preserve the condition of my maxi as it will be a tight squeeze.

Can anyone recommend a Chanel that would be suitable for a laptop of this size? I'm fairly sure that even a GST will be too small. And I think the Cerf Tote may not be tall enough.

I do have the Chanel laptop sleeve from last season, but I think I'd prefer a hangbag/laptop solution in one if possible.

I'm tempted by the LV Passy GM, but my heart really does belong with Chanel if I can possibly find something suitable.

Is it bigger than a file folder? I use my GST to put files in when working. I fit two wire bound notebooks slightly less than letter size and file folders into my GST easily.

The dimensions of the GST listed on the forum state that it's 13" long (which is the outside measurement)... and the laptop dimensions are 12.8" long. I think the actual inside dimensions may be too small :( I will try it though.

The laptop is 12.8" x 9" x 0.7".

Oh how do you find your Air Saks4me? :)

Since I'll be needing to carry my laptop basically with me everywhere everyday I'd like to have an all-in-one option so that I don't need to carry a handbag and my laptop separately.
