If you buy from an EU Hermes webstore you can return it and buy it right back through a physical EU boutique in order to get the detaxe back. I am not sure if you have to send the package to the boutique for pick up.

I read many experiences of non-locals purchasing from the French Hermes website and returning it in a French boutique in order to buy it back to get the tax refund. I don't know if they are established clients at the boutique to be allowed to do this though.

yes, they can do that in each French store
