Hello All!
I'm just starting out my Hermes collection and over the past year or so I've made purchases abroad as most of my family members are not originally from the US.
I'm wondering if any of you have had experience with making a purchase in another country and retrieving transaction information/customer account info in a US store?
All of your help is greatly appreciated.
In case you are asking it because you want to show your sales records to obtain B or K at local H store, this may not help much as each store is tracking the purchases history separately. From what I am reading, in general, SA won't be able to see or retrieve any of your overseas purchase record.
That was something I was thinking about. It's kind of unfortunate that it can't be obtained.
So let me see if I understand...purchase records are not only unobtainable from overseas, but purchases are only truly tracked by the store in which you make your purchase? Thus, necessitating a relation to not only be established with the brand but with the individual store?
Is this still the case? I was wondering if in the US, another store can see your account and put your purchases in the account you use for your mother store. My mother store is BH but we will be staying in Las Vegas for a month and I know there are a couple H Stores there and would like to grab some stuff while we're there too.
Stores in the US can see your other purchases in the US and online from US website.
Do you mean that you can now see all your boutique purchases under your online account?Bumping this thread to say that the online account has now consolidated my purchases from different continents as they were all made using the same email account.
No, only online purchases. It used to be one has to log on to a country specific site to view one's purchase from that site. Now one can view all purchases regardless of which country site one logs in, even if one has never purchased from that country's site.Do you mean that you can now see all your boutique purchases under your online account?
Thank you for clarifying. It is then the same as for me. I have purchased both at the Swedish (EU) and France online site and I can see all my purchases under the same e-mail. The France and general EU site has different inventory, that´s why I´ve purchased from both. No, only online purchases. If you genuinely want the items and the website is your only purchase avenue then by all means order them. However these purchases will not help you in regards to being offered a coveted bag at a store. Quota bags are offered from the store (not the brand) based on your loyalty as a client to that individual store (not the brand). Recommend doing what you can to shop in a store and building your profile that way. Good luck.Hi, everyone. I have just placed my first order on the Hermes official website for a bag charm this morning. There is no Hermes store in where I m staying so there is no way for me to build relationship with any Hermes sa. Is it wise for me to build up my purchase history thru online at the Hermes official website? Hoping that if one day I can visit a Hermes store in any country and showing the sa my purchase history. Kindly advise please....thanks in advance.![]()
