Is my vachetta defective?

Personally, if they decide that this is normal, I wouldn’t have the patch of leather replaced. It’s hardly noticeable. I think I would live with the lighter vachetta.

Can anyone help me decide whether or not I should take my 6 month old neverfull back to the store for defect inspection. It seems the vachetta pieces that hold the side straps, are not getting a patina like the rest of the bag. Attached is a photo. Please let me know if there is reason for concern or if I am just crazy. Thank you!! Ps the leather has never been treated as per LV advice. Thanks.how

thank you, the colors match everything!!!! I'm so glad that I didn't go with the voters choice of not bringing it in for inspection, haha!
