Is Louis Vuitton Monogram too ostentatious?

I would ignore it. Now if one hand is this is about being robbed, yes I would agree entirely to be cautious to use monogram or anything signifying “wealth”, “money”.

So funny that this thread popped up because I was just purchased an old school Noe bb in monogram with a full vachetta bottom and I am positively thrilled. I haven’t bought a vachetta bag in four years and I am craving it thanks to Pharrell’s interpretations of classic pieces showing in the men’s lines. Have any of you seen these gorgeous bags? They feature pre-tanned vachetta and it just reminded me of how the vachetta is supposed to look after years of use. And it also reminded how beautiful the monogram is with warm vachetta which goes beautifully with all the earth tones that are so on trend now. So here we go. Not quite luxury but not any less beautiful and classic.
