Is it worth the time to fly all the way to Paris for first Hermes?

my experience was waiting in line for a wallet, seeing everyone else in the line who is waiting to ask for a b or k eventually get turned down. H fsh didn't even have any picotins !

It will be an adventure, whatever happens birkin-wise. You wouldn't be the first person to wing into Paris for a two day shopping expedition! And, whatever happens, if you don't get the bag on this trip, you'll learn more about the process of getting the bag just by being on-site in Paris. It's true that it will probably be something of a nerve-racking experience: will you get an acceptable bag or not? But that's what makes it an adventure, b/c you just don't know what will happen. It sounds like other people get birkins all the time in Paris so why not you? I'd think positive about this, don't give up on the idea even before you get to Paris.

Congrats on your adventure Paris trip! :smile1: It's always good to try out and no regrets! I flew to Europe for 3 weeks and dropby Paris to get the Evelyne bag; finally managed to find the orange Evelyne. So happy! :roflmfao:

I am flying to eastern europe this end of autumn. And decided to book a domestic flight from prague to paris at the end of my trip specially to score a Lindy 30 *hopefully*. Other boutiques i will try is munich, salzburg and maybe prague.

I am so afraid i might be wasting my air ticket to paris if i dont score anything. But my boyfriend actually encouraged me to give it a try and didnt mind lindy-hunting with me.

4 more months counting down... cant wait.
