Is it ok to use a FAKE handbag on a rainy day?

No why buy a fake, why not buy a nice, durable bag that will take you through all weathers. My Jimmy Choo has been through rain, hail, sleet, snow, and still looks fantastic. Until I joined this forum I didn't even realise I needed to treat the bag with some sort of specialist product 
or baby it and not put in on the floor of a restaurant etc, I had always put her bag in the dust bag after I had used her but that was about it.

Like so many others have said before me: there are other inexpensive bags than fakes. I carry those when it's raining. I'd love to get a Prada nylon bag for those occations instead though!
I NEVER carry a fake, and don't encourage it. On rainy days I try not to take my really expensive bags out, if I have to I carry an umbrella or stick the bag under my coat. But most often I'll take one of my designer bags that aren't leather, like a LV canvas bag.
you can use LV Damier ebony with no problems in rain or the Epi line. But I usually don't use leather stuff when it rains.
No way. Fakes are illegal and I don't support illegal activities. Just carry an inexpensive bag... Fossil, Lucky, Nine West, etc. etc. - But Coach signature fabric is great for a rainy day. It's waterproofed and the rain beads up and rolls off.
