Is it common for the spy flap to be uneven?

Hi ladies,
I am really considering getting another spy, but the one I am thinking of buying has an uneven flap. It's hard to explain, but basically, you can see the silver piece underneath the flap sticking out on one side of the flap.... I'd just like to know, whether this is a 'defect' or whether this is normal/common? I really love the color, but I just want to make sure that if I do buy it, I will love her when she arrives. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

Can you post a photo? sometimes they do show with use...other times it is a manufacturing defect...just my 2 cents...

ohh I see..it looks like a defect to me, but I don't know as much as the others. Is this on ebay?

^^ Just cleared this up with my friend, and it is not a defect- just the placement of the bag in the photo. Everything has been sorted now. Thank you ladies for your input
